Spotlight on PWAS Artist Staci Blanchard

The Artistry Spin Blog has started a series for Prince William Art Society (PWAS) members called "Spotlight Artists", where those artists that want to be featured will submit a prearranged template for posting here and spread on our PWAS social media sites.

Artist Style: Abstract, pour painting

Artist Mediums: Acrylic

Artist Bio:

Staci has worn many hats in her 52 years. She is a Desert Storm Navy Veteran; she was a respiratory therapist and paralegal at different times. Staci turned to art about 6 years ago for mental health reasons and hasn’t looked back. She found her passion in fluid art/paint pouring.

This style of painting forces the artist to let the paint lead and give up control; when life gets crazy and you find yourself constantly trying to “control” everything, it is freeing to let go with the paint. Staci has recently started playing with abstract painting and discovering more of the artist inside.
