PWAS Spring Tall Oaks Art Show Sat, May 2, 10-5

The biannual Prince William Art Society Spring Tall Oaks Art Show will take place on Saturday, May 2 from 10am to 5pm at 12298 Cotton Mill Drive, Woodbridge, VA. The artist members will have a variety of art, art styles and art mediums on display for your viewing. Local art by local artists right in Lake Ridge!

We've had great turn outs for our art shows each year and enjoyed meeting everyone! The art show can go on - rain or shine! Often we have an artist painting out front too. We'll be right off Old Bridge Road, down from the Giant on Hedges Run and the corner of Cotton Mill Road - so Woodbridge, Lake Ridge, Occoquan - an art show right in your backyards!

Fall Tall Oaks Art Show Nov 1 Right in the Lake Ridge Community

Saturday, November 1, 2025. The Prince William Art Society (PWAS) had their biannual a very successful art show at the Tall Oaks Community Center with many art lovers from all over the area. Twelve PWAS Members had their artworks on display for the visitors to browse and enjoy, as well as snacks!

Lake Ridge Loves the Arts

The PWAS art group, holds art shows in the Spring (in early May) and Fall at the Tall Oaks Community Building located at 12298 Cotton Mill Road, Woodbridge, VA, which is the location of our monthly art group meetings as well. The group meets on the 4th Monday of the month, at 7:30pm and the public is welcome to attend a meeting - which is a great way to see what we have on our art radars!

The members enjoyed a fantastic fall day and meeting the visitors to the art show this past Saturday. We met fellow artists and art admirers, people interested in art classes, our art group, art collectors and art gift givers! I even met some folks I had previously painted a pet portrait for!

PWAS Fall Tall Oaks Art Show in Lake Ridge Sat Nov 1

The Prince William Art Society (PWAS) biannual art show right here in Lake Ridge - Woodbridge, Virginia is Saturday, November 1 from 10am to 5pm. Local artists from Prince William County will have their art on display at the Tall Oaks Community Center, 12298 Cotton Mill Road for you to enjoy. The show is rain or shine.

 

Tall Oaks Community Center is on the corner of Cotton Mill and Hedges Run which is right off of Old Bridge Road in Lake Ridge. That is where the Giant Shopping Center is. So while you are out running your Saturday errands, stop in at the art show to see us!

This community center is where the PWAS art group holds its monthly meetings (the 4th Monday of the month at 7:30pm) and our PWAS Fall Tall Oaks Art Show.

An Art Show in Pictures from PWAS

The Prince William Art Society (PWAS for short) just held its Fall Tall Oaks Art Show this past Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Tall Oaks Community Center on the corner of Cotton Mill and Hedges Run in Woodbridge. We had 9 PWAS members showing their art.

The PWAS members that helped with this show are Staci Blanchard and Ana Quispe (the coordinators), Ken and April McKether (who helped load the gridwalls), Richard Tyler, Maria Briganti, Doreen Dauer, Jewell Pratt Burns, and Donna Liguria.

It was a beautiful day, thankfully. We had plenty of visitors and had a very productive show and so enjoyed the meeting and seeing all the visitors. We had several patrons with Christmas gift-giving in mind too! We saw a past member and so many that just plain enjoyed seeing the outstanding and quite varied types of art and topics on display.
 

The Prince William Art Society uses the Tall Oaks Community Center for our monthly meetings which are on the 4th Monday of the month at 7:30pm. The public is always welcome to attend the meetings where we often have very interesting artist guest speakers. We also use the community center for our Spring Tall Oaks Art Show and again for the Fall Art Show, and often for our member's December Christmas Party. 

Many thanks to everyone that helped make this show happen - an art show is always a lot of hard work. A lot of folks may not realize that. 

And thank you to the many visitors, we hope you enjoyed the show!
