PWAS Fall Tall Oaks Art Show in Lake Ridge Sat Nov 1

The Prince William Art Society (PWAS) biannual art show right here in Lake Ridge - Woodbridge, Virginia is Saturday, November 1 from 10am to 5pm. Local artists from Prince William County will have their art on display at the Tall Oaks Community Center, 12298 Cotton Mill Road for you to enjoy. The show is rain or shine.

 

Tall Oaks Community Center is on the corner of Cotton Mill and Hedges Run which is right off of Old Bridge Road in Lake Ridge. That is where the Giant Shopping Center is. So while you are out running your Saturday errands, stop in at the art show to see us!

The Prince William Art Society (PWAS) announces its biannual Spring Tall Oaks Art Show held at the Tall Oaks Community Center at 12298 Cotton Mill Road, Woodbridge, VA scheduled for 10am to 5pm. This community center is where the PWAS art group holds its monthly meetings (the 4th Monday of the month at 7:30pm) and our PWAS Fall Tall Oaks Art Show.

PWAS Members Call for Popup Show!

PWAS members are invited to register to show at this event. It is $10 bucks to apply and contact Staci Blanchard thegoddessofglitter.art@gmail.com for the necessary Entry documents, Inventory sheets and more info. Registration Page

An Art Show in Pictures from PWAS

The Prince William Art Society (PWAS for short) just held its Fall Tall Oaks Art Show this past Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Tall Oaks Community Center on the corner of Cotton Mill and Hedges Run in Woodbridge. We had 9 PWAS members showing their art.

The PWAS members that helped with this show are Staci Blanchard and Ana Quispe (the coordinators), Ken and April McKether (who helped load the gridwalls), Richard Tyler, Maria Briganti, Doreen Dauer, Jewell Pratt Burns, and Donna Liguria.

It was a beautiful day, thankfully. We had plenty of visitors and had a very productive show and so enjoyed the meeting and seeing all the visitors. We had several patrons with Christmas gift-giving in mind too! We saw a past member and so many that just plain enjoyed seeing the outstanding and quite varied types of art and topics on display.
 

The Prince William Art Society uses the Tall Oaks Community Center for our monthly meetings which are on the 4th Monday of the month at 7:30pm. The public is always welcome to attend the meetings where we often have very interesting artist guest speakers. We also use the community center for our Spring Tall Oaks Art Show and again for the Fall Art Show, and often for our member's December Christmas Party. 

Many thanks to everyone that helped make this show happen - an art show is always a lot of hard work. A lot of folks may not realize that. 

And thank you to the many visitors, we hope you enjoyed the show!

PWAS Annual Fall Tall Oaks Art Show

The Prince William Art Society (PWAS) annual Fall Tall Oaks Art Show is this Saturday, Oct 5 from 11 to 5pm. at 12298 Cotton Mill Road, Woodbridge, VA. Some members of the art group will have art on display for you to browse, rain or shine at the Tall Oaks Community Center. Come by and see us!

Art right in the neighborhood! Local Prince William County artists at the Prince William Art Society's Fall Tall Oaks show on Saturday, October 5 include the following artists:

Ana Quispe

Former Prince William Art Society President, Ana will be at the show with her lovely artworks and art merchandise.

Doreen Dauer

PWAS member Doreen will have artwork showing and we hope to see her very popular and outstanding floral works that she is well known for.

Maria Briganti

A long-time member of PWAS with a plethora of wonderful landscapes and other scenes, Maria Briganti will have her artwork at the show.

Richard Tyler

Richard will have his very popular artworks and prints at the Tall Oaks Community Center on Saturday.

Staci Blanchard 

Staci will be at the show with her colorful and trending paint pour artworks and landscapes that would look great in your home. Staci says, "Let's sell some art!"

Jewell Pratt Burns 

Original PWAS member, Jewell Burns - since we began the Prince William Art Society in 1971! and the namesake of the Jewell Pratt Burns Scholarship Award will have several artworks at the show.

Donna Liguria 

Donna's works will include her paintings, prints, her very popular Mini Paintings with Easels, and Bookcase Art Paintings.

Post 461: The Art Show at Tall Oaks

The Art Show at Tall Oaks

The Prince William Art Society (PWAS) hosts an annual Spring and Fall Art Show at the Tall Oaks Community Center found at 12298 Cotton Mill Drive in Woodbridge, VA and this past Saturday, May 11, 2024 was the first one of the season. Most of the day was bright and sunny, albeit a bit chilly in the shade. A great day to see some art!

We had a great turn out for the show with many people stopping in to enjoy the artwork. And we also had some PWAS members stopping in to see the show too! As a team, we had a great time getting together and doing all the things that get an art show setup and run. A lot of laughs, oooo's and awww's as we appreciated each others art and celebrated each piece of art that visitors purchased to give a new home to. Plenty of folks picked up PWAS brochures so hopefully some new faces join the group in future too, we hope.
