Post 264: Tony Muller's Workshop

Tony Muller's Workshop

Last Saturday, November 12, 2022, Tony Muller had a workshop on "Augmented Reality and the application to art world". Here is how he described the workshop and his presentation notes along with some pictures from the day.

Tony: We first discussed the history of AR, what it is, and what it's not. Then a quick overview of how it's being used on every day life.

Then we explored the historical use of AR in various art forms - dance, theatre, and finally static gallery pieces.

The last bit of the workshop provided 3 examples of AR-enhanced artworks using the app Artivive.

I think we had about 25 attendees throughout the day and over 100 viewings on the Artivive app.
