Monthly Prince William Art Society Meeting Mon, Mar 25, 2024 7:30pm
Monday, March 25, 2024 is the monthly Prince William Art Society meeting at 7:30pm at the Tall Oaks Community Center, 12298 Cotton Mill Dr., Lake Ridge VA 22192.The meetings often feature a guest speaker, snacks and beverages, and a business portion of what is going on with the PWAS art group. And there is a LOT of new shows going on for our members!
Featured Guest Speaker, Delwyn Elizabeth
March 25th the PWAS will host a program by Delwyn Elizabeth, Maker Librarian for the Makerspace Hive 8051 at Bull Run library in Manassas. A Makerspace is in development at Chinn Park library too, and we'll be treated to an overview of the currently available equipment and facilities, how to use the space, and what has been planned for future availability as well. Come and learn about this entirely new, exciting and low cost way to try out and work with equipment you may only have dreamed of using. Programs are free and open to the public who are invited to attend. Meetings begin at 7:30 pm at the Tall Oaks Community Center, 12298 Cotton Mill Dr., Lake Ridge VA 22192.
