Meet a PWAS Member: Michelle Baker
Once an Artist, Always an Artist
Michelle Baker was always a creative person. In fact, she studied art as a child and she minored in art in college. But then professional duties and life got in the way, and art took a back seat—until 2020.
A confluence of events paved the way for Michelle to renew her dedication to art: the pandemic, leaving her career as a journalist, and her "nest" emptying out. A conversation with someone in 2020 inspired her to pick up her brushes, paints, and inks again. As this individual pointed out to Michelle, "Once an artist, always an artist."
