PWAS Meeting Monday, September 20, 2021 at 7:30 pm
The Prince William Art Society will hold its monthly meeting at the Tall Oaks Community Center, 12298 Cotton Mill Dr, Woodbridge, VA 22192, beginning at 7:30 pm on September 20th. Following the business meetings, PWAS hosts free programs each month. Meetings and programs are open to the public and guests are always welcome.
Our September guest speaker is Anne Hollis, an artist with the Lorton Workhouse Arches Gallery. Anne is a mixed media artist experimenting with paper, paint, fabric, or clay. She enjoys the juxtaposition of different materials or oddball items which usually creates bad-relief elements in her artwork. Her current focus is using up the donation of old fabrics and learning how to sew, mostly through trial and error. She is also an art teacher with the Fairfax County Schools.
