Post 122: Prince William Art Society Meeting 3-28-22 7:30 pm

The Next Prince William Art Society Meeting 3-28-22 7:30 pm

On March 28th the Prince William Art Society will meet at the Tall Oaks Community Center 12298 Cotton Mill Dr, Lake Ridge, VA 22192 at 7:30 pm. Following the business meeting, we invite you to join artist and oil painter Rich Moore as he shares his experiences, artwork, inspiration and encouraging stories of more than 40 years in the art field. All programs are open to the public free of charge.

Guest Speaker - Rich Moore

Mr. Moore's art journey began back in high school while attending the Pennsylvania Governor’s School for the Arts scholarship program which was a catalyst for more formal training in college, both in business and fine art. Soon after, Rich became a commercial graphic designer which led to having his own graphic design firm for over 20 years. Then in 2014, the Lord brought Rich back to his original love for fine art and so his livelihood continued with that focus. Today you can find Rich painting in his studio in Alexandria, Virginia or outside painting (en plein air). He aspires to create artwork that connects people to their loving Creator. As an artist and believer in the Lord Jesus who created all things, Rich wants to bring forth artwork that magnifies and showcases this grandeur. In addition to being a member of The Loft Gallery in historic Occoquan Virginia, many of Rich’s paintings have been juried, selected and exhibited at the Art League Gallery (Torpedo Factory) in Alexandria, Virginia.

Post 120: Otis Stanley Art and Music

Otis Stanley with an Art and Music Pairing

Teaming with the creativity of Wynd Chymes TV and it's founder Dr. Morris Henderson, SLIMRIC STUDIO presents " Going Home". The creative process of this painting and the accompanying music offers a tribute to the countless and nameless musicians that added to the music known internationally as Blues. No Blues, no Rock n Roll.
